Boxed or fully assembled bike or quad: choosing the right option
Where the option appears on a qualifying product, you can choose a boxed machine or request full assembly. The website shows the available choice and its price before checkout. A fully assembled service is currently priced at €120 per eligible bike or quad; check the basket total for your exact order. The assembly service is separate from a machine's colour and stock level.
Boxed: what are you taking on?
A boxed bike or quad needs work before it can be ridden. The exact tasks differ by model. Depending on the machine, assembly may involve handlebars, wheels or controls, and all safety-critical fasteners, brakes, steering, tyres, fluids or electrical connections must be checked against its manual. If you cannot assemble and inspect it properly, choose the assembly option where offered or arrange a qualified mechanic. Do not ride it straight out of the box.
Fully assembled: what to confirm
Ask what preparation is included for the particular model and whether you need to bring fuel, a charger or anything else. Inspect the machine at collection and ask us to show the controls and manual. A completed assembly service does not replace routine checks or maintenance after purchase.
Stock and timing
Assembly availability is a service choice, not proof that a particular colour is locally in stock. Some machines are ordered in. We will confirm your chosen model, colour and collection time before you travel to Virginia, County Cavan. Delivery is not available at present.
Which should you choose?
If you have the tools, experience and time to work to the manufacturer's instructions, a boxed machine may suit you. If you want the store to carry out the initial assembly where offered, select fully assembled and review the added charge. Either way, check rider fit using our bike guide or quad fit guide before ordering.
